Orange Technical College - West Campus is seeking a maintenance technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical integrity of the property.
Location: 2010 Ocoee Apopka Road
Compensation: $15 per hour
Part-time hourly, non-benefitted position
Hours per week: 15-25 hours per week
Qualifications:
- 2+ years’ experience in maintenance experience
- Must possess solid knowledge and hands-on skills related to carpentry, electrical, plumbing, drywall repair, painting, staining, and concrete repair.
- Must have a valid driver’s license.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on campus facilities to ensure optimal functionality and aesthetics of the campus.
- Provide excellent customer service to administrators, faculty, and staff regarding maintenance requests.
- Must be aware of the condition of the property at all times and take immediate steps to correct any unsafe condition or perform routine preventive maintenance
- Diagnose and perform minor or routine maintenance or repairs.
- Report all major repairs and need requisitions to school administration prior to any expenditure of funds.
- Must be team oriented and a problem solver.
- Stooping, standing, climbing and frequent lifting.
- Lift and carry objects of up to 50 lbs. for distances of up to 30 feet.
- Climb ladders and stairs.
