The purpose of the position is to facilitate communication between students who are Deaf Hard of Hearing (DHH) involved in the educational process through the use of sign language, oral interpreting, real time captioning, and/or other communication resources needed to accommodate DHH students who qualify to receive these services. Under general supervision, the purpose of the position is to perform custodial tasks for an assigned school of the district. Employees in this class are responsible for accomplishing a daily routine of custodial tasks that provide school personnel, students, and the public with an environmentally safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient place in which to work and conduct school activities. Under direction, the purpose of the position is to function as crew leader for custodial personnel engaged in highly responsible custodial tasks for an assigned school of the district. Employees in this class are responsible for planning and accomplishing a daily routine of custodial tasks that provide school personnel, students, and the public with an environmentally safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient place in which to work and conduct school activities. Under direction, the purpose of the position is to perform highly responsible custodial tasks for an assigned school of the district. Employees in this class are responsible for accomplishing a daily routine of custodial tasks that provide school personnel, students, and the public with an environmentally safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient place in which to work and conduct school activities. Responsibility areas include, but are not necessarily limited to daily unlocking and securing of facilities, routine inspection of facilities and grounds for hazardous conditions, and assuming crew leader duties when directed. Under general direction, the purpose of this position is to perform district-based duties associated with the handling, verifying, reviewing and permitting of contractor’s for Facilities design and construction. The work involves varied work methods and problems which includes lead responsibilities for evaluation and processing of all documents for permitting. Work requires exercise of judgment based on related knowledge of departmental policy and applicable state statutes. Employees in this classification function in a technical capacity and produce related reports, collection of funds and document analysis in functional area. This position provides related technical support to other district personnel as needed. Position reports to the Building Code Official.
