Under direction, the purpose of the position is to perform and coordinate corrective and scheduled maintenance in various craft disciplines in accordance with requested and approved work orders at a high school or other identified facility with more complex systems and multiple programs. Work may involve the use of diverse maintenance skills and knowledge depending on the specific assignment to be performed. Essential functions as outlined herein are performed according to the functional area of assignment and at locations within the respective regional learning community or other district locations. Under direction, the purpose of the position is to perform skilled to advanced electrical trades work related to various installation, maintenance and electrical repair tasks and projects for the school district. Employees in this classification function with considerable independence and latitude in judgment concerning methods, materials, and priority of assigned work orders. Work areas include, but are not necessarily limited to, new construction, outdoor structures, and interior facilities. Position coordinates assigned work projects in a manner to minimize disruption in school district activities. Work may include leading work crews when applicable to the assigned work orders.
