Under direction, the purpose of the position is to daily operate an assigned school bus on an assigned transportation route for the school district. Employees in this classification are responsible for the safe transportation, loading and unloading of students to and from destinations, and ensure all bus activities support the safety and welfare of all persons. Work is performed in conjunction with bus monitoring personnel, and includes ensuring appropriate securing of students and the provision of required assistance to students with special medical needs. Performs related work as directed.

Under direction, the purpose of the position is to perform highly responsible custodial tasks for an assigned school of the district. Employees in this class are responsible for accomplishing a daily routine of custodial tasks that provide school personnel, students, and the public with an environmentally safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient place in which to work and conduct school activities. Responsibility areas include, but are not necessarily limited to daily unlocking and securing of facilities, routine inspection of facilities and grounds for hazardous conditions, and assuming crew leader duties when directed. Under general supervision, the purpose of the position is to perform semi-skilled mowing and landscaping work related to the care and upkeep of school district property. Employees in this classification function with some latitude in independent judgment concerning methods and priority of tasks, function independently within scope of abilities, or participate in projects as part of a work crew. Work areas include, but are not necessarily limited to, grounds maintenance, and tree trimming. Work objectives are to maintain cleanliness, order, and environmentally safe conditions of school district property. Essential functions as outlined herein are performed according to assigned area. Under direct supervision, the purpose of the position is to provide staff support in an educational or child care environment, performing paraprofessional work in assisting teachers and pre-kindergarten age students. Employees in this classification work with children individually or in small groups by providing basic instruction in abilities and skills developmentally appropriate to pre-school age children. Position is responsible for assisting teachers with transporting children to various scheduled activities, i.e., lunch, rest time, restrooms.
