Under general supervision, the purpose of the position is to perform custodial tasks for an assigned school of the district. Employees in this class are responsible for accomplishing a daily routine of custodial tasks that provide school personnel, students, and the public with an environmentally safe, attractive, comfortable, clean, and efficient place in which to work and conduct school activities. Under direction, the purpose of the position is to function as crew leader master for custodial personnel engaged in highly responsible custodial tasks for an assigned school of the district. Employees in this class are responsible for monitoring, training, assigning, reviewing, planning and coordinating the work of crew leaders who are over custodial crews. Responsibility areas include, but are not necessarily limited to training of crew leaders and custodians, developing daily and weekly cleaning work schedules, routine inspecting of facilities and grounds for hazardous conditions, and maintaining adequate supply inventories. Position oversees and participates in all facets of work under charge. Performs related work as directed.
Under administrative direction, the purpose of the position is to perform maintenance, landscaping, herbicide/pesticide application, irrigation, and supervisory work in the planning, organizing, and coordinating of projects and preventative maintenance. Employees in this classification perform work with considerable independence of action and latitude for decision-making within program guidelines under the direction of a classified Trades Tech or an administrative level supervisor. Employees are responsible for assisting crew leaders who have crews reporting to them. Performs related work as directed.
Under administrative direction, the purpose of the position is to perform administrative and supervisory work in the planning, organization, coordination, and direction of school district maintenance, repair and construction activities associated with one (1) or more of the craft civil or mechanical trades. Such areas include, but are not limited to, HVAC, carpentry, painting, electrical, asphalt and concrete, refrigerant recovery and recycling, roofing, pest control, horticulture, property control, metal fabrication, and communication systems. The classification is distinguished from that of Technician I by the advanced degree of technical knowledge and skills applied to the work. Incumbents may be assigned to a specific functional area such as construction management. Essential functions as outlined herein are performed according to the area of assignment. Work may involve the use of diverse maintenance skills and knowledge depending on the specific assignment to be performed. Essential tasks as outlined herein are performed according to the functional area of assignment at locations within the respective regional learning communities or other district locations. Under general direction, the purpose of the position is to perform district or school-based duties providing technical assistance with the installation and maintenance of hardware, software, network communication and workstations. Employees in this classification function at an operational capacity and perform a variety of duties including troubleshooting, technical support, training functions, server and database maintenance as well as web page maintenance and design. This position also serves as a technical resource for department site-based staff and personnel. Performs related work as directed.

Employee will also perform a variety of specific duties including collecting, reviewing, and tracking accident data, managing a database, preparing cost analysis, preparing various reports and training functions. Position is responsible for ensuring provision of fresh, environmentally safe, and dehumidified cooled or heated conditioned air for the assigned region of the district. Under general direction, the purpose of the position is to perform skilled to advanced trades work related to various installation, maintenance and carpentry repair tasks and projects for the school district. Employees in this classification function independently, as assigned, or in a crew leader capacity for trades personnel engaged in various trades related facilities maintenance projects. Work areas include, but are not necessarily limited to, new construction, outdoor structures, and interior facilities. Position provides lead worker instruction and assistance to lesser skilled district trades and facilities maintenance personnel, as well as coordination and delegation of project tasks. Performs related work as directed.
Under direction, the purpose of the position is to daily operate an assigned school bus on an assigned transportation route for the school district. Employees in this classification are responsible for the safe transportation, loading and unloading of students to and from destinations, and ensure all bus activities support the safety and welfare of all persons. Work is performed in conjunction with bus monitoring personnel, and includes ensuring appropriate securing of students and the provision of required assistance to students with special medical needs. Performs related work as directed.
